Questions
Where does the data come from?
California ABC, the state liquor regulator. ABC posts every new license application each business day in its New Applications report and its daily data export. Both are public. We read them, keep your county, and sort each filing.
What is the difference between a new place and a change of owner?
A new place is an original license, or a license moving to an address where no other retail license is active. A change of owner is a license being sold to a new owner at the same address. Both can be worth a call, so the email lists them in separate sections.
How soon after a filing do I see it?
Monday’s email covers filings from the week before, Monday to Friday. A filing reaches you 3 to 7 days after ABC records it. ABC review usually takes weeks after that, so there is time to call before a place opens.
Can I forward it to my reps?
Yes. Forwarding the email or the spreadsheet to your own reps is included in the price. The email is one column so it reads on a phone after it is forwarded.
Which counties do you cover?
Los Angeles County today. Each county is $79 a month.
How do I cancel?
